Rumours of a fallout between Sudhanshu Pandey and Rupali Ganguly have been making the rounds ever since his sudden exit from Anupamaa in 2024. However, the actor has now spoken out, setting the record straight and dismissing any claims of tension between them.
In a recent interview, Sudhanshu discussed his decision to leave Anupamaa, the popularity of his character Vanraj Shah, and the ongoing speculation about his relationship with Rupali. Explaining why he announced his exit publicly, the actor shared, “I felt responsible towards my audience. They deserved to know where Vanraj had gone. Instead of letting them find out from other sources, I wanted to tell them personally.”

When asked about the reports of his alleged feud with Rupali, Sudhanshu was quick to dismiss them. He clarified, “There are always stories, but they have nothing to do with reality. The four years I spent on the show were fantastic, and I will always cherish them. Rupali and I are on good terms—we were just chatting on Instagram recently and even bickering over something. So, all is well.”
Anupamaa Cast Exits After Sudhanshu’s Departure
Sudhanshu’s exit was a surprise for many fans, especially since his character had been a central part of the show. Soon after, several other actors, including Gaurav Khanna, Nidhi Shah, and Kunwar Amar Singh, also left Anupamaa, following a major 15-year time leap in the storyline. Despite the speculations and shake-ups, Sudhanshu has only fond memories of his time on the show. He acknowledged that Anupamaa was a special part of his journey and expressed gratitude for everything he gained from it.
