Suhani Bhatnagar, recognised for her portrayal in the Aamir Khan-led film Dangal, passed away on February 16. Her unexpected death shocked the nation, prompting numerous celebrities to express their condolences on social media. In the biographical sports drama directed by Nitesh Tiwari, she portrayed the character of the younger Babita Kumari Phogat. Her family disclosed that she had been battling Dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory disease, which ultimately led to her passing. Now, in a recent interview, Suhani's mother revealed how Aamir Khan had been a constant source of support for them throughout the years.

Pooja Bhatnagar, described the PK actor as a kind-hearted individual and mentioned that he consistently stayed connected with her daughter. She also mentioned that they chose not to disclose their daughter's health condition to anyone. She told ANI, "Aamir sir has always been in touch. He is a nice person. He always remained in touch with her. We didn’t inform him because we were already very disturbed so we didn’t tell anyone including him (Aamir Khan) but definitely, if we sent him a text message, he would immediately respond and call us personally. He bonded well with Suhani from the beginning."

"Recently, it was their daughter's (Ira Khan) marriage. We got the invite properly. He even called us stating that you have to come.” However, Suhani's mother stressed that during that period, Suhani was recuperating from a fracture, which prevented them from traveling. Consequently, they were unable to attend the wedding.

Also, the grieving mother revealed that following her role in 'Dangal,' Suhani engaged in some print ad shoots. However, their priority was for her to complete her studies first. She mentioned that their daughter herself believed she should finish her graduation before pursuing her passion for acting. Suhani's mother disclosed that she was studying Journalism and Mass Communication and had excelled in the last semester.
