Sunil Grover gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of characters like Gutthi on 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' and Dr. Mashoor Gulati on 'The Kapil Sharma Show.' However, Sunil Grover left the show after rift with Kapil Sharma, which occurred in 2017. Now, putting their differences aside, the two have reconciled professionally and are set to collaborate on a Netflix show. While it's described as a comedy series, details remain scarce. In a recent interview, Sunil addressed the reconciliation, expressing optimism about their relationship.

Sunil Grover has faced numerous questions about his relationship with Kapil Sharma and their infamous fight over the years. Opening up about the same to Indian Express, Sunil said, "Initially, I would get disturbed, but not anymore. I know the truth so what someone says or understands, is their problem, not mine. Those who point fingers, what is their credibility? If I need to answer something, I will do so, but usually there is no need for an explanation. They don’t have a full understanding of the matter, no facts, they are just saying something because it’s their job. Writing negative things grabs more attention. They will all understand eventually."

He further hinted at forthcoming announcements regarding the show, indicating that more details will be revealed soon.

Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover's fight

Tensions between the two comedians escalated into an ugly altercation during a flight back from a show in Australia. Following this incident, Sunil ceased collaborating with Kapil, and the two refrained from communicating with each other until last year. Reportedly, an inebriated Kapil Sharma verbally abused and physically assaulted Sunil Grover. This incident led to Grover's departure from 'The Kapil Sharma Show.' Despite attempts at reconciliation, including public apologies from Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover chose to part ways with the show and pursue other projects.

In late 2023, Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover reunited to announce their upcoming Netflix show. Although not much details are available, it's confirmed to feature Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Archana Puran Singh alongside them.
