Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol hosted a special screening of their late father, veteran actor Dharmendra's last film Ikkis. The event was organised as a tribute to their father and saw several industry members in attendance. Sunny made an appearance at the screening and soon after his arrival at the venue, the moment turned emotional while he posed for paparazzi after noticing his father's poster. Sunny quickly went on to pose with Dharmendra's character poster from the film, visibly holding back his emotions. However, his eyes said it all. The screening of Ikkis was also attended by Bobby Deol along with his family. The photos and videos emerged on social media featuring several celebrities joining Agastya Nanda and Ikkis' team for the screening in Mumbai.

Dressed in an olive green attire paired with a white shirt, Sunny arrived at the Ikkis screening. In a viral video, he appeared teary-eyed after seeing his father Dharmendra’s poster at the venue. After posing for paps, he greeted them with folded hands.

Later, Bobby Deol was seen arriving with his wife, Tanya Deol and their son Aryaman Deol. He was also joined by his cousin, actor Abhay Deol.

Besides the Deol family, celebrities including Johny Lever, Tiger Shroff, Ameesha Patel, Jeetendra, Arjun Kapoor, among many others, graced the screening of the film Ikkis on Monday evening.
Dharmendra’s final film, Ikkis, is set to release in cinemas on January 1, 2026; earlier, it was slated for release on December 25. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, the war biopic features Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia in lead roles, with Dharmendra playing a significant supporting role. Presented by Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films, Ikkis is based on the true story of a war hero, Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who sacrificed his life at the age of 21 during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The movie also features Jaideep Ahlawat, Ekavali Khanna, Aadyanshi Kapoor, Shree Bishnoi, Sikandar Kher, and Akashh Alonia.
The film holds special and emotional significance for both the audience and the veteran actor's family, as it marks Dharmendra's final appearance on the big screen.
