Earlier, the couple announced their wedding plans on Instagram, where Surbhi shared her excitement and nostalgia: "These roots run deep, carrying stories of sunshine and rain, resilience and grace. Sumit and I chose to begin our journey here, under nature’s sacred canopy, honouring the trees that stand tall and the five elements that keep us whole."
Initially, Surbhi and Sumit had planned to marry in March, but due to logistical issues and venue availability in Rajasthan, they postponed their big day to October. Now, they've chosen the tranquil Aahana Resorts in Jim Corbett for a ceremony that aligns with their commitment to nature. According to a report from Hindustan Times, the wedding will incorporate eco-friendly rituals that honour the five natural elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Each ceremony will blend traditional customs with an environmentally conscious approach, giving a unique twist to their celebrations.
Surbhi and Sumit have been dating for several years, but they only made their relationship public in May when Surbhi shared an Instagram post captioned, Birthday 2024, confirming their romance. The two reportedly met on the set of the music video Haanji - The Marriage Mantra, where they played a bride and groom, sparking the beginning of their real-life love story.
Although the couple kept their relationship under wraps for a while, fans are thrilled to see them officially come together. Surbhi, known for her roles in popular TV shows like Qubool Hai, Naagin, Ishqbaaz, Tanhaiyan and Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, has won hearts across the industry and her fans are eagerly following each update on her special day.
