Surinder Shinda Death: Legendary Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda passed away on July 26 in Ludhiana after 20 days in hospital. The singer was 64 years old and breathed his last at the DMC Hospital in Ludhiana at 7:30 AM.

Surinder Shinda was earlier admitted to Model Town Hospital and then was shifted to DMC. After a 20-day run at the hospital, the singer was put on ventilator support before he passed away on Wednesday

According to a report in DNA India, Surinder Shinda underwent minor surgery at Aurisan Hospital a couple of months ago. Post-surgery, he got infected and suffered from breathing difficulty, and was admitted to the hospital urgently.

Surinder Shinda was born on May 20, 1959, as Surinder Pal Dhammi and belonged to Choti Ayali village, Ludhiana district, Punjab. Hailing from the Ramgharia Sikh family, the singer is popularly known for his songs 'Jeona Morh' and 'Badla Le Layeen Sohneya’.

Some of his other chartbusters include ‘Truck Baliye’, ‘Balbiro Bhabhi’, ‘Kaher Singh Di Mout’, ‘Ucha Burj Lahore Da’ (Kalian), ‘Ucha Burj Lahore Da’ (Kalian), ‘Rakh Ley Clinder Yaara’, and more. He also featured in several films including 'Putt Jattan De' and 'Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da'.
