Sushant Singh Rajput has become a vague and faded name in the streets of Bollywood, where the film fraternity witnessed the breaking of his talented actor who continues to live in the hearts of millions with his striking performances and clean slate heart.

On June 14, 2020, the nation received a shock amidst the pandemic crisis with the demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor was found hanging in his Bandra apartment which followed a series of dramas inside the Bollywood fraternity but our loose judicial actions never provided justice to the actor.

Taking a closer glimpse at his hardworking journey, let's know about his professional timeline. Sushant Singh Rajput was born on January 21, 1986, in Patna, Bihar. He was an outstanding student and ranked seventh in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination and cleared 11 national engineering examinations.

He completed his Bachelor's from Delhi Technological University in Mechanical Engineering and also won the National Physics Olympiad. However, the latter dropped out of college to pursue a career in show business and moved to Mumbai.

After some time, the actor was spotted by Balaji Telefilms and was cast in 'Kis Desh Mei Hai Mera Dil' where he essayed the role of Preet Juneja in 2008. However, he soon became a popular household name with his role as Manav Deshmukh in 'Pavitra Rishta' in 2009. The actor won multiple awards and also fell in love with his co-star Ankita Lokhande.

However, in 2011, the actor left the show and was also seen in 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4' with choreographer Shampa Sonthalia. The actor got the title 'Most Consistent Performer.' Sushant Singh Rajput then auditioned for Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kao Po Che' in 2013 and got his Bollywood debut break. The film was a commercial hit and was critically acclaimed as well.

The same year he also appeared in 'Shuddh Desi Romance' where his chemistry with Parineeti Chopra and Vani Kapoor was hailed by the audience. However, the film which changed his life was 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' in 2016 which was based on the biopic of cricketer MS Dhoni.

The latter was then seen in multiple projects including, 'Raabta' with Kriti Sanon, 'Sonchiraiya' with Bhumi Pednekar', and 'Kedarnath' with Sara Ali Khan which was a blockbuster at the box office.

However, during the first year of the pandemic, in June 2020 the actor was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment. Three years on, the Central Bureau of Investigation has neither filed a chart sheet nor officially closed the case. The investigation into the murder was initially registered by the Bihar Police which was then shrouded in the secrecy of the Central Agency which now has been recorded as Accidental Death after conducting a series of interviews. The post-mortem report also corroborated the notion of suicide.

After his demise, his last film 'Dil Bechara' which was a remake of the Hollywood film 'Fault In Our Stars' was released on Disney+Hotstar. The film also featured Sanjana Sanghi and was directed by Mukesh Chhabra.
