On Monday, actor Rhea Chakraborty announced that she has been roped in as the new gang leader of the popular reality show, MTV Roadies. She also shared a video of herself, dressed in all-black attire, as she announced her comeback. The promo video saw her saying, "Aapko kya laga mein wapas nahi aaungi, darr jaungi? ab darne ki baari kisi aur ki."

Now, reacting to it, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Priyanka Singh, who frequently shares videos and clips of her brother, took to her Twitter handle and shared a cryptic post. She wrote, "Tum kyun darogi? Tum to vyashya thi, ho aur rahogi! Prashna ye hai ki tumhare upbhogta kon hai? Koi sattadhari hi ye himmat de sakta hai. WhoResponsible 4Delay InSSRCs is obvious (sic)." (why would you be afraid! The question is who are your consumers? Only a ruler can give this courage.)

Soon after Chakraborty dropped the video, several netizens supported her, while several were against the makers' decision to cast her in the upcoming season of Roadies, as evident from the comments section.

An Instagram user commented, "This means I won't be able to enjoy the Roadies again Good gang leaders, there is still time," another one wrote, "The standard of Roadies has gone so bad. Call back Ran sir Prince brother's speed and Neha mam," while a person also commented, "How can Roadies select her.. please boycott Roadies. U can take any one else not her,. #justiceforssr. Ban rhea," and others also dropped negative comments.

It is pertinent to note that, after the shocking demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, his father filed an FIR against his ex-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, charging her with aiding suicide and money laundering. Sushant's father urged that she be sued.
