Tamil thriller Suzhal: The Vortex is set to return with its much-awaited Season 2 on Prime Video. Starring Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, Lal, Saravanan, Manjima Mohan and more, the web series is scheduled to be released on February 28, 2025.

Season 2 picks up with the tragic murder of senior activist lawyer Chellappa, who previously represented Nandini. As the investigation begins, Sakkarai finds himself entangled in a maze of betrayals, family secrets, and past crimes that continue to haunt the present. The case takes a shocking turn when eight seemingly unconnected young women emerge as the prime suspects.

Set in the fictional village of Kaalipattanam, the story unfolds against the backdrop of the vibrant Ashtakaali festival, adding layers of mystery and suspense.

The gripping series boasts an ensemble cast featuring: Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, Lal, Saravanan, Manjima Mohan, Kayal Chandran, Gouri G Kishan, Samyuktha Viola Viswanathan, Monisha Blessy, Rini, Shrisha, Abhirami Bose, Nikhila Sankar, Kalaivani Bhaskar, Ashwini Nambiar and Chandini Tamilarasan.

Pushkar & Gayatri have created the series, with Bramma and Sarjun KM directing it. Wallwatcher Films has produced this much-anticipated sequel. With high expectations, Suzhal: The Vortex Season 2 promises an intense, edge-of-the-seat experience when it premieres on Prime Video on February 28.
