Swara Bhasker’s account on X (formerly Twitter) has been permanently suspended due to alleged copyright infringement. The actor revealed that her Republic Day posts were flagged for violations, which she strongly contested as baseless. She took to Instagram to express her frustration and urged the platform to review its decision.

In a detailed Instagram post, Swara Bhasker explained that two of her tweets were marked for copyright infringement, leading to her account’s suspension. One of the flagged images featured an orange background with the slogan "Gandhi Hum Sharminda Hain, Tere Qaatil Zinda Hain," written in Hindi. The actor argued that this is a widely used phrase in India’s progressive movement and does not violate any copyright laws.

The second image under scrutiny was a photo of her own child, whose face was concealed, holding an Indian flag with a "Happy Republic Day India" message. Questioning the reasoning behind the complaint, Swara asked, “How can this possibly be a copyright infringement? Who has a copyright on my child’s likeness?”

Swara suggested that mass reporting might be behind the suspension, stating that such actions aim to harass users and suppress free speech. She urged X to review and reverse its decision, emphasizing that the flagged content does not violate any legal copyright definitions.

Known for her vocal opinions on socio-political issues, Swara Bhasker has often faced backlash online. Currently, the actor is on a break, focusing on her personal life after marriage and motherhood.
