Netflix's highly anticipated Kdrama, Sweet Home, is set to return with its third season, marking the conclusion of this gripping apocalyptic horror series. Directed by visionary Lee Eung-Bok, known for his masterful storytelling, the show is based on the popular webtoon by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan.
Sweet Home Season 1 garnered massive global attention, capturing over 22 million viewers within its first four weeks and achieving a historic milestone as the first Korean series to top Netflix's Global Top 10 TV list (Non-English). Season 2 further deepened the narrative, introducing complex characters and intensifying the battle between humans and monstrous beings.
In Season 3, the storyline promises to blur the boundaries between humanity and monstrous neo-humans, plunging the world into chaos and exploring the repercussions of this monstrous transformation. The trailer for Sweet Home Season 3, released by Netflix, showcases protagonist Hyun-su (played by Song Kang) navigating a dystopian landscape, fiercely protecting his loved ones amidst the ruins of a once-thriving city.
In Sweet Home Season Finale, Song Kang returns as Hyun-su, the central character grappling with the horrors of his new reality. Lee Do-hyun reprises his role as Lee Eun-hyeok, adding depth to the narrative with his portrayal. Other notable cast members include Lee Jin-wook as Pyeon Sang-wook, Lee Si-young as Seo Yi-kyung, Go Min-si as Lee Eun-yu, Jinyoung as Park Chan-yeong, Kim Si-a as The Girl, Kim Moo-yeol as Sergeant Kim Yeong-hu and Oh Jung-se as Dr Lim.
