Tabu made her Hollywood debut with the highly anticipated web series Dune: Prophecy. The actress played the role of Sister Francesca who is an important part of the show. Her episode went on air on December 15 on Max and started streaming on JioCinema on December 16. As the episode started streaming online, her steamy scene which features Sister Francesca kissing Emperor Javicco Corrino (played by Mark Strong) went viral on social media. 

A user wrote on X, “First footage of Tabu as Sister Francesca in Dune Prophecy Episode 5 has dropped #Tabu #DuneProphecy.” Another user wrote, “She def in love with him” “She doesn’t want to express how much she feels for the emperor, bcs that would make make it more difficult for him” “She keeps the sisterhood above her feelings” I JUST KNOW IT’S GONNA END TRAGICALLY FOR THEM.” 

Fans were eagerly waiting to watch the actress on the show. Earlier, Tabu shared about her episode details on Instagram “Prepare for a new Sister to show her strength. From Frank Herbert’s epic universe and from the novel Sisterhood of Dune. The #DuneProphecy episode featuring Tabu premieres December 15 on @streamonmax and December 16 in India on @officialjiocinema.” 

As per PTI, the actress also spoke about her role and said “Right from the moment I was approached for it, I said yes without batting an eyelid. It's an actor's delight to be trusted with a character so interesting, intriguing, intelligent, and emotionally powerful. The Dune universe is so rich in history and intrigue. I can't wait for audiences around the world to explore it.” 

The show also stars Travis Fimmel, Emily Watson, Josh Heuston, Jessica Barden, Mark Strong, Olivia Williams, Jodhi May and Chloe Lea in key roles. A new episode of the show drops on every Sunday. The show consists of 6 episodes in total.
