JE Entertainment Desk: Tamannaah Bhatia has been making the headlines since her 'topless' scene went viral in the Amazon Prime Video series 'Jee Karda.' Essaying the character of Lavanya, the actress broke her 'no kissing' policy in her 18-year-old career, and first shot for her kissing scene with her rumored boyfriend in 'Lust Stories 2', to be released on June 29, on Netflix.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the actress spoke about doing such a role because of her zest to prove herself for a long period. The actress also spoke about not doing intimate scenes for the longest time in her career and opened up about not doing such bold scenes in the South Film industry.
Tamannaah spoke about the taboo attached to the intimacy scenes in the South Film fraternity and how she managed to break away from that mindset. She eventually became a fan of 'Lust Stories' when it came out in 2018 and now it's a dream for her to work in the sequel of it.
According to the report she said, "For an actor like me, because I have done a lot of commercial cinema, I am first the audience of Lust Stories 1. It really gave me the power as a female actor and as just an audience that people want to watch these stories."
She further said, "The taboo and shame around it is slowly wearing away because we are moving with times and everyone is evolving. So, I was that first audience that lapped it up. I enjoyed it. I remember everyone that I knew had watched it, and everyone seemed to have enjoyed it."

She also spoke about her hesitations about doing the intimate scenes and the difference it created after she finally did one. The process, however, did not seem a big enough deal for her.
She said, "I have had literally next to no intimacy. So for me as an actor, it was a great opportunity to understand that something like intimacy is also just like any other scene. It's like a scene in which we are eating food, or it's like a scene in which we are doing action. It is choreographed."
She also said, "The entire process actually demystified so many things for me as a person and as an actor. It was very much needed for an actor like myself to present a side to the audience that they haven't seen of me. I was so hungry to show people that I am an actor and I can do anything."
Tamannaah Bhatia was recently seen in 'Jee Karda' series released on Amazon Prime Video. She will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Lust Stories' alongside Vijay Varma. The film also features Neena Gupta, Kajol, Kumud Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles.
