1. Ranam Aram Thavarel

'Ranam Aram Thavarel' revolves around a crime writer, who gets involved in several serial killings after the suspicious death of a nurse. Directed by Sherief, the movie stars Vaibhav, Nandita Swetha and Tanya Hope in the lead roles. It is streaming on Prime Video.

2. Por Thozhil 

'Por Thozhil' revolves around an academically bright but faint-hearted rookie who teams up with a hostile and reclusive senior cop to catch a serial killer on the loose. Directed by Vignesh Raja, the movie stars R Sarath Kumar and Ashok Selvan in the lead roles. The movie is streaming on SonyLiv. 

3. 8 Thottakkal

'8 Thottakkal' revolves around a depressed and loyal policeman who loses his gun to the killer but things take a dark turn when the person who stole the gun goes on a killing spree. The movie stars Vetri, Aparna Balamurali, Nassar, MS Bhaskar and Meera Mithun in the lead roles. It is loosely inspired by the 1949 Japanese movie 'Stray Dog' and was remade in Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam. It is streaming on Zee5 and Hotstar.

4. Ratsasan

'Ratsasan' focuses on a young man named Arun, who gives up on his dream of becoming a filmmaker and becomes a police officer after his father's death. He gets assigned the case to track down a psychotic killer who targets schoolgirls. The movie became a huge hit and was remade in Hindi as 'Cuttputlli'. It is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

5. Viduthalai Part 1

'Viduthalai Part 1' is an adaptation of the short story 'Thunaivan' written by B. Jeyamohan and stars Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. The movie revolves around a policeman, who is conflicted between his duty and morality when his department begins a brutal campaign to capture a local activist. It is streaming on Zee5.

6. Imaikkaa Nodigal

'Imaikkaa Nodigal' revolves around Anjali Vikramadithyan, a CBI officer, who sets out to track down a serial killer who the police claim to have killed years ago. Things turn upside down when her own family becomes a target. The movie stars Nayanthara in the lead role with Atharvaa, Raashii Khanna and Anurag Kashyap in supporting roles. It is streaming on Prime Video.

7. Yuddham Sei

'Yuddham Sei' 'Yuddham Sei' stars Cheran, Dipa Shah, Y. G. Mahendra, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Jayaprakash, and Selva.
