Thandel Box Office Collection Day 4: Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Telugu movie had an extraordinary first weekend. But it faces a massive drop on its first Monday due to which it misses the chance to cross the Rs 50 crore mark. The romantic action thriller movie was released in theatres on February 7 in the Telugu language but was also dubbed in Tamil and Hindi languages. Despite aiming at a wider audience, the movie failed to create a mark on its first weekday.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 4.75 crore on Monday (day 4). The net collection of Thandel stands at Rs 41.10 crore. It had an overall 26.94 per cent Telugu occupancy in theatres. It had 20.01 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 26.56 per cent in the afternoon shows, 27.12 per cent in the evening shows and 34.08 per cent in the night shows.

Thandel Budget
As per reports, the film was made on a budget of Rs 90 crore. If the movie shows an improvement in Valentine’s week then there is a chance that the film will cross its budget mark.
About Thandel
The story is about a fisherman, who has been caught by Pakistani forces as he was found in international waters. The heartwrenching story received mixed responses from the audience and the critics. The movie stars Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, Prakash Belawadi, Kalpa Latha, Kishore Raju Vasistha and Sundip Ved in key roles. It has been directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu, Allu Aravind and Vidya Koppineedi. The music has been done by Devi Sri Prasad.
