Thandel Box Office Collection Day 5: Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Telugu movie has been performing slowly at the ticket windows after a blockbuster first weekend. This brings concerns that if the movie will overcome the slow pace at the box office soon. As Valentine’s Day is approaching and a long weekend might change the fate of the movie and bring in some good numbers. For the unversed, the romantic action thriller movie was released in theatres on February 7 and received mixed responses from the audience and the critics.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 3.50 crore on day 5. The net collection of Thandel stands at Rs 44.35 crore. It had an overall 22.87 per cent Telugu occupancy in theatres on Tuesday. The film had 17.67 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 22.81 per cent in the afternoon shows, 23.49 per cent in the evening shows and 27.49 per cent in the night shows.

About Thandel 

The story is about a fisherman, who mistakenly crossed the International waters which was followed by his arrest by Pakistani forces. The movie features Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, Prakash Belawadi, Kalpa Latha, Kishore Raju Vasistha and Sundip Ved in key roles. It has been directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu, Allu Aravind, Vidya Koppineedi.
