Romantic Telugu Movies On OTT: Thandel, a romantic action thriller starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, will be released in theatres on February 7th, 2025. The Telugu movie, which is directed by Chandoo Mondeti, has been making waves ever since its trailer dropped. 

Thandel is based on a true story about Srikakulam fishermen who unintentionally entered Pakistani waters while fishing.

Ye Maaya Chesave (Prime Video)

Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the movie also featured Naga Chaitanya as the main lead. The story of the film revolves around the life of an engineering graduate named Karthik. He secretly wishes to become a director. However, Karthik crosses paths with a girl named Jessie and falls in love with her.

Despite an age difference and different cultural beliefs, he follows his heart to win over Jessie.

Bheeshma (Netflix)

Bheeshma is a lighthearted romantic comedy film in Telugu that has a good deal of drama. The main characters are Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna, and the story revolves around the former's life as a meme creator who, after being named CEO of the company she works for, has the ideal chance to win over the girl of his dreams.

Brindavanam (Prime Video)

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, and Jr. NTR play the main roles in the Brindavanam Telugu movie. Srihari, Tanikella Bharani, Prakash Raj, and Kota Srinivasa Roa played minor roles in the romantic thriller. Both reviewers and fans gave the film high marks, and it was a huge financial success.

Love Story (Aha)

In addition to being neighbours in Hyderabad, Revanth and Mounica are also from the same town, Armoor. In contrast, Revanth is a failing Zumba instructor who is attempting to define himself. Mounica is an engineer who just received her degree and is working to overcome social constraints. They finally fall in love because they both enjoy dancing.

Fidaa (Disney+ Hotstar)

Sekhar Kammula prefers to keep his stories as unusual and realistic as possible. The movie's plot follows the life of a country girl named Bhanumati, who develops emotions for her brother-in-law, NRI Varun, but is reluctant to tell him because she will be spending the rest of her days on board.

Sita Ramam (Disney+ Hotstar)

Sita Ramam was one of the most-watched romantic dramas in 2022. The plot of the movie was lauded by viewers for its use of romance, drama and tragedy.

The Telugu movie, which is set in the 1980s, features a strong cast. Dulquer Salmaan played Lieutenant Ram while Mrunal Thakur played Sita Mahalakshmi, alias Princess Noorjaha. The heartbreaking tale of Sita and Ram's love is the subject of the heartfelt romantic drama. 

Mr Perfect (Prime Video)

Mr Perfect, which was produced by Dil Raju and directed by K Dasaradh under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, was a box office success. Vicky (Prabhas), the protagonist of Mr. Perfect, is a man who dislikes making concessions in life. His quest for self-discovery is chronicled in the movie. Prakash Raj, Nassar, Murali Mohan, and Rao Ramesh are among the other actors in the movie.
