Although the film's theatrical release date has been confirmed, fans eagerly awaiting its online debut will have to wait a bit longer. Thangalaan is set to stream on Netflix, which has been announced as the official OTT partner for the film.

Thangalaan Day 1 Box Office Prediction

Thangalaan is generating buzz with its unique subject and Chiyaan Vikram's new look. With 2 days to go, the film has already sold 2.20 crores gross tickets in Tamil Nadu and 2.50 crores gross in India, including other states. Expected to earn 14-17 crores net on day 1, Thangalaan is poised to become the second-biggest Kollywood opener of 2024, surpassing Raayan's 13.70 crores, with Indian 2 holding the top spot at 26 crores, according to Koimoi.

Thangalaan Budget

If the reports are to be believed, Thangalaan has been made on a budget of Rs 100 - Rs 150 crore.
