The Buckingham Murders Trailer Out: Kareena Kapoor is all set to return to the big screen with her upcoming thriller movie 'The Buckingham Murders'. The actress will play the role of a detective trying to find the real culprit behind a murder that took place in London. After creating hype among the audience ahead of the film's release, Kareena has unveiled the trailer of 'The Buckingham Murders'.

'The Buckingham Murders' will release in theatres on September 13, 2024.

While talking about her character at the trailer launch event, Kareena said, "The character has so much soul. I thought it was the right time for me to do the character, to feel the character. Also, it is so much different from Crew or Jaane Jaan that also released this year. And I also think it is the duty of an actor to keep doing something differently over and over again. As far as balancing personal and professional life is concerned, I enjoy that hustle. I enjoy working at the same time being a mother and a wife. Jeh was there with me at the shoot.”

The official synopsis of 'The Buckingham Murders' reads, “Fresh wounds are reopened when Jasmeet Bhamra, a cop and single mother who recently lost her child in a shooting spree, transfers to High Wycombe and is assigned the case of a missing child. Director Hansal Mehta explores themes of trauma, closure and the immigrant experience with his signature sensitivity in this atmospheric thriller, featuring a career-best performance by Kapoor.”

While speaking at Netflix's Actors Roundtble 2023, Kareena talked about her character and said, “I think I loved playing that part because this is the first time I am playing a detective, and I am a huge crime drama fan." She further added, "It’s a career-defining role for me and one of my best characters."

Apart from Kareena Kapoor, the movie also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen. 'The Buckingham Murders' is written by Aseem Arora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker and produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films alongside Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor.
