The Diplomat Box Office Collection Day 6: John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb starrer political thriller movie The Diplomat released in theatres on March 14. The film has been performing decently at the box office despite getting rave reviews. The Diplomat has seen a slight dip in numbers at the ticket windows on its first Wednesday. Seeing the current pace, it seems the movie won’t be able to cross the Rs 20 crore mark in its first week. However, if the film sees growth over the weekend, it can be a game changer for its box office collection.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 1.40 crore on Day 6. The net collection of The Diplomat stands at Rs 17.65 crore. It had an overall 8.77 per cent Hindi occupancy on Wednesday. The film had 5.08 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 8.90 per cent in the afternoon shows, 8.50 per cent in the evening shows and 12.60 per cent in the night shows.

About The Diplomat
The story is about an Indian Diplomat, who tries to repatriate an Indian girl from Pakistan. She was forced to marry against her will. The movie features John Abraham, Sadia Khateeb, Sadia Khateeb, Jagjeet Sandhu, Ashwath Bhatt, Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra in key roles. The film has been directed by Shivam Nair.
John Abraham recently met the External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. He took to his Instagram where he shared some pictures with the minister and his wife. John wrote in the caption, “Was a pleasure and honour to meet a man who I so intently follow, we discussed diplomacy, the North East and football amongst many other things.
