The Diplomat Box Office Collection Day 8: John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb starrer political thriller movie released in theatres on March 14. The film has been performing decently at the ticket windows. After its Friday collection, the movie achieved a new milestone as it crossed the Rs 20 crore mark. The Diplomat might see a clash at the ticket windows as IPL is slated to start on March 22. This might be a challenge for John Abraham’s movie. However, the weekend collection will give an overview of the impact on the overall performance of the film.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 1.25 crore on Day 8. The net collection of The Diplomat stands at Rs 20.40 crore. The film had an overall 12.83 per cent occupancy on Friday. It had 5.64 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 9.73 per cent occupancy in the afternoon shows, 11.97 per cent occupancy in the evening shows and 23.97 per cent in the night shows.

About The Diplomat
The political thriller movie is about an Indian Diplomat, who is on a mission to repatriate an Indian girl from Pakistan. It was then revealed that she was forced and deceived into marriage against her will. The movie features John Abraham, Sadia Khateeb, Prapti Shukla, Jagjeet Sandhu, Ashwath Bhatt, Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra in pivotal roles. The movie was directed by Shivam Nair. As per reports, the film is set to release on Netflix post-theatrical release.
