The lighthearted jab sparks nervous laughter from Archana Puran Singh, who queries Kapil if Sidhu's comeback means she's being replaced as the show's judge.

Navjot Singh Sidhu's departure from The Kapil Sharma Show in 2019 was shrouded in controversy, stemming from his controversial remarks on the Pulwama terrorist attack. In February 2019, India witnessed a devastating attack that claimed the lives of numerous security personnel. In the aftermath, Sidhu sparked outrage with his comments, cautioning against associating terrorism with an entire nation and advocating for dialogue over hostility.

Sidhu's statements, although intended to promote peace and understanding, were misinterpreted and sparked widespread criticism. Many viewed his remarks as insensitive and tone-deaf, leading to a public outcry and demands for his removal from the popular comedy show. The backlash was intense, and ultimately, the producers decided to replace him with Archana Puran Singh, who has since become a regular fixture on the program.
