The Kerala Story 2 Teaser: Following the massive commercial success and widespread debate surrounding the original film, the first teaser for The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond has officially been released today, January 30, 2026. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah along with co-producer Aashin A Shah and directed by National Award-winner Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the sequel promises a significant shift in perspective, moving from the documentation of suffering to a narrative of defiance.

The Kerala Story 2 makers unveiled the teaser with the caption, “Our daughters don't fall in love, they fall in traps. Ab sahenge nahin... ladenge”  The Kerala Story 2 teaser introduces a fresh lead cast featuring Ulka Gupta, Aishwarya Ojha, and Aditi Bhatia. Initially, the visuals depict the three young Hindu women leading seemingly ordinary lives, defined by romance and emotional trust. However, the atmosphere quickly sours as the hidden agenda of religious conversion comes to light. The teaser captures the psychological manipulation and coercion the women face as their romantic connections transform into a trap. 

Meanwhile, the most notable difference between this sequel and its predecessor is the change in tone. While the first film focused heavily on the victimisation of the protagonists, The Kerala Story 2 appears to be about reclaiming agency. Users quickly flooded the comment section with praise and excitement after the teaser was dropped.

The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is produced under the Sunshine Pictures banner. The original 2023 film was a box-office phenomenon, earning over Rs 300 crore. The movie is set to hit theatres on February 27, 2026.
