The Sabarmati Report Box Office Collection Day 1: Vikrant Massey’s highly anticipated movie has finally been released after much wait by fans. The movie was released in theatres on November 15 and received positive feedback from the audience. The Sabarmati Report revolves around a very crucial incident in Indian history that touched the hearts of the audience. The box office collection of the movie began on a strong note and is expected to maintain the same pace in the coming days.

As per Sacnilk, The Sabarmati Report earned Rs 1.69 crore on the opening day. The movie had 16.74 per cent Hindi occupancy in theatres. It had 9.58 per cent in the morning shows, 15.19 per cent in the afternoon shows, 16.59 per cent in the evening shows and 25.58 per cent in the night shows.

If reports are to be believed, the movie has been made on a budget of Rs 50 crore including all inclusive of prints and advertising costs.
About The Sabarmati Report
The story revolves around the horrific incident that took place on the morning of February 27, 2002, aboard the Sabarmati Express near the Godhra railway station in Gujarat. The movie features Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, Riddhi Dogra, Tushar Phulke, AI Arjun, Anjali Nadig, Sandeep Kumar and Sundip Ved in prominent roles. The film has been directed by Dheeraj Sarna. It has been produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan.
While sharing the trailer of the movie, Massey wrote on Instagram “History is the witness, whether it is country or human, it takes care of it only after falling.
