Apple CEO Tim Cook was present at the recent IPL match between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. He was spotted sitting in the stands with Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband, Anand Ahuja, who is a businessman.

Rajeev Shukla, who is the vice president of BCCI, was also present in the stands with them. Tim Cook's visit to India is for the inauguration of the first-ever Apple Store in Mumbai. After spending some time in Mumbai, he has now arrived in Delhi to inaugurate another Apple Store in Saket.

On Thursday, Sonam posted pictures on her Instagram featuring Cook and Anand as they watched an IPL match and took selfies together. In the caption, Sonam expressed her gratitude to Tim Cook and the entire Apple team for their visit and wrote, “Tim Cook and entire @apple team - we hope you’ve had a lovely stay here and leave encouraged and positive on Apple’s outlook in the country. We’re so grateful for the care and attention you’ve given to creating your signature world class experience here (folded hands emoji) @anandahuja." Tim tweeted after Sonam also shared the pictures on Twitter, “Thank you so much for an unforgettable evening!”

Just a few days ago, Sonam and Anand met with Tim Cook before the Apple Store opened in Mumbai. Sonam posted several pictures on Instagram on Tuesday, showcasing her and Anand's outfits from the event. She dressed in a formal grey ensemble, whereas Anand wore blue and grey attire.

Sharing photos with Anand, Sonam captioned her post as, "My handsome date who is one of the biggest supporters of creative talent and innovation. He feels they always go hand and hand. It requires wonderful imagination to create anything new in the arts, engineering or science. We all are creators."

On the work front, Sonam is returning to the film industry after a significant hiatus with Shome Makhija's Blind. This will be her first movie since giving birth to her son Vayu in August last year. Sonam's last appearance was a cameo role in Netflix's AK vs AK (2020).

Prior to that, she acted in two films that were released in 2019: The Zoya Factor with Dulquer Salmaan and Angad Bedi, and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which co-starred Rajkummar Rao and her father, Anil Kapoor.
