Bhavya Gandhi, fondly remembered for his portrayal of Tapu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), is making a return to television, but this time with a twist. He is set to take on a negative role in the popular TV show Pushpa Impossible, marking a significant shift from his previous roles.

As per a Times Now report, Bhavya’s character will be quite complex, depicting a psychotic person determined to destroy Pushpa and her family. This role promises to be a departure from the innocent and fun-loving Tapu that fans have grown to love. It offers Bhavya the opportunity to showcase his versatility and explore a darker character, giving his acting career a fresh and exciting direction.

In a conversation with India Forums, Bhavya expressed his excitement, saying, "I'm thrilled to be part of this show. It’s a very different character – a psychotic villain who enters Pushpa’s life seeking revenge." When discussing his return to television, he added, "TV is my comfort zone. Bhavya also hinted at an upcoming film project, further expanding his acting portfolio. For those unaware, he made his film debut in 2017 with Pappa Tamne Nahi Samjaay. Besides his long stint in TMKOC, Bhavya appeared in shows like Bau Na Vichar, Baap Kamaal Dikro Dhamaal and Shaadi Ke Siyape, where he played the character Nanku.

The lead cast of Pushpa Impossible includes Karuna Pandey, Naveen Pandita, and Darshan Gurjar, among others, and has been winning over audiences since its premiere on Sony SAB in June 2022.
