Malayalam blockbuster movie 2018: Everyone is a Hero is all set for its OTT release. The movie, starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role, hit the theatres on May 5, 2023. Despite the film's success in cinemas, the streaming service has opted to distribute it and the fans are a bit disappointed with the same.

Why are fans disappointed with the release date of 2018?
The fans of Tovino Thomas are disappointed with movie's early release on OTT. According to a report in Indian Express, a Reddit user said, "Very disappointed, it’s too soon and should’ve been postponed…I had a big wish that the movie could’ve got a final maximum gross of 100 crore, from Kerala. At this rate, the maximum gross will be 90 crores," another one also wrote, "Why so fast? BO is still strong! Also, they just released in other languages. At least give it time to catch up with word of mouth or something. Now all will be waiting for OTT!"

2018 narrates the story of the devastating Kerala floods that occurred in 2018 when people from all walks of life came together to survive the calamity. The film effectively takes forward the message that Humanity can win over adversity.
The Malayalam film, directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, stars Tovino Thomas, Aparna Balamurali, Kalaiyarasan, and others.
