Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar got the box-office ringing with its collections in the first two days. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the film released in cinemas on the occasion of Holi 2023.
On Day 1, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar collected over Rs 15 crore. The film held strong on Day 2 and collected over Rs 9 crore. The total box office collection of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar in two days stands at approximately Rs 35 crore.

Anubhav Singh Bassi
The stand-up comedian, who makes his big Bollywood debut with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, charged a whopping sum of Rs 80 lakh for his role of Ranbir Kapoor’s best friend in this film.
Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha Kapoor, who returns to the big screen after a gap of three years, was paid a much lesser amount than Ranbir Kapoor for the film. The actor was reportedly paid Rs 7 crore for her role in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
Dimple Kapadia
The veteran actor, who was also seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan recently, took home a paycheck of Rs 70 lakh for her role in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
Ranbir Kapoor
The actor, who returns to the rom-com genre after many years, charged a hefty fee for his role in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. According to a report in Free Press Journal, Ranbir Kapoor charged a whopping sum of Rs 25-30 crore for his role of the male protagonist in the film.
Boney Kapoor
The veteran actor reportedly charged a fee of Rs 80 lakh for his role in the film.
Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. The actor will star alongside Tripti Dimri, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in the film, slated for release in August 2023.
