Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Box Office Collection Day 5: The romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, continues to face difficulties at the domestic box office. Despite being a Christmas release, the film has failed to gain strong momentum and witnessed a sharp drop in collections on its first Monday.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri earned around Rs 1.75 crore on Day 5 (Monday, December 29). This marked a significant fall after the weekend and pointed towards weak weekday performance. With this, the film’s total India net collection now stands at approximately Rs 25.25 crore. The movie registered a low overall Hindi occupancy of around 12 per cent on Monday, reflecting limited footfalls across cinema halls.

Released in theatres on December 25, the film opened on a modest note. It collected Rs 7.75 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 5.25 crore on Day 2. On Day 3, collections saw a slight improvement with Rs 5.5 crore. However, earnings dipped again on Day 4, bringing in Rs 5 crore. The real challenge emerged on Day 5, when collections dropped sharply to Rs 1.75 crore, raising concerns about the film’s long-term theatrical run. The film is also facing tough competition from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, which continues to perform strongly even in its fourth week and remains a major attraction at the ticket counters.

Directed by Sameer Vidwans, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri marks the reunion of Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday after their 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh. The movie also features veteran actors Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta in important supporting roles. Produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions, the film was expected to perform better given its star cast and holiday release. However, reports suggest that the movie is mounted on a hefty budget of around Rs 90 crore, making recovery through domestic box office collections increasingly difficult under current trends.
