Turbo OTT Release Delayed? The latest action-comedy featuring Mammootty and Raj B Shetty, directed by Vysakh, seems to have faced a delay in its OTT release. After much anticipation and speculation, the official OTT release date for Mammootty’s highly awaited action thriller Turbo has been confirmed. Directed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, Turbo is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film produced by Mammootty under Mammootty Kampany. The movie stars Mammootty in the titular role, alongside Raj B. Shetty, Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anjana Jayaprakash, Niranjana Anoop, Bindu Panicker, Dileesh Pothan, and Shabareesh Varma. Christo Xavier composed the music, with Vishnu Sarma and Shameer Muhammed handling cinematography and editing, respectively.
Turbo: Release Date and Platform
Turbo had its theatrical release on 23 May 2024 and received mixed reviews from critics, marking a commercial disappointment at the box office. Turbo: Plot And Cast
Turbo narrates the compelling tale of Turbo Jose, a steadfast jeep driver driven by a strong moral compass. The story unfolds when Turbo comes to the aid of his best friend, Jerry, a bank manager brutally assaulted on the eve of his wedding. Turbo supports Jerry through the ordeal, even assisting him in declining the marriage proposal.
The film delves into Turbo's relentless pursuit of justice. Written by Midhun Manuel Thomas and directed by Vysakh, 'Turbo' received acclaim upon its theatrical release, earning praise from audiences and achieving significant box office success. In the action-packed film, Mammootty shines as Aruvipurathu Jose, also known as Turbo Jose, Anjana Jayaprakash portrays Indhulekha Nair, adding depth to the narrative with her role. Raj B. Shetty plays Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram, while Shabareesh Varma brings humour and heart as Jerry. Sunil takes on the character of Auto Billa, Kabir Duhan Singh embodies Vincent, and Niranjana Anoop portrays Sithara, Jerry's friend.
Bindu Panicker brings warmth as Aruvipurathu Rosakutty, Jose's mother, while Roshan Chandra portrays Jerry's younger brother. Adarsh Sukumaran appears as Basil, Jose's friend, and Dileesh Pothan as Andrew, a Chennai-based businessman.
