TXT Yeonjun made a powerful statement at the Hanteo Music Awards 2025, addressing the mixed reactions to his solo song GGUM. While accepting his first award for the track, the idol expressed his gratitude towards MOAs and made it clear that criticism wouldn’t shake his confidence.

During his acceptance speech, Yeonjun shared how much GGUM means to him. He admitted he hadn't expected to win the award but took the opportunity to thank his fans. "Hello everyone, this is Yeonjun. I really didn't expect to win this, and since this is my first award for GGUM, I’m not sure what to say. But first and foremost, thank you so much to our MOAs who love GGUM. This song means the world to me because I worked so hard on it, and I cherish it like no other," he said.

Acknowledging the criticism surrounding the song’s choreography and style, he remained firm in his stance. "Thanks to all the love it has received, I’ve been able to connect with fans worldwide. I know there have been a lot of mixed opinions about the choreography or the song itself, but I won’t let that affect me and will keep moving my hips," he declared. 

Yeonjun’s confidence and direct response to criticism earned widespread praise from MOAs. Fans took to social media to celebrate his attitude, calling him an “it boy” and applauding his unbothered energy.
