UP65 OTT Release Date: Streaming platforms continue to expand their collection of web series and original content on a daily basis, catering to specific audiences. Joining the league is the upcoming web series UP65, which is set to be streamed on an OTT platform in the near future. This series is an adaptation of the Hindi novel Yupi 65 (UP 65) written by Nikhil Sachan. Jio Studios takes the role of the presenter for this web series. Last month, an exciting eighteen-second teaser of the show was unveiled, along with the announcement of its digital streaming partner and release date.

UP65 is set to make its digital debut on JioCinema, starting from June 8. It should be noted that users can enjoy the web series without having a subscription or membership on the platform, as it will be available for free. JioCinema is gradually expanding its repertoire of titles, positioning itself as a strong contender among other OTT giants, thereby intensifying the competition in the streaming space.

On May 24, Tejkarran Singh Bajaj, the Head of Originals and Bhojpuri at Jio Studios, took to Twitter to share a brief teaser of UP65. The teaser effectively conveyed a fun, enjoyable, and feel-good vibe that the web series promises to offer.

About UP65:

The series is being produced by Freshlime Films and helmed by Gaganjeet Singh. It features Shine Pandey in the lead role of Nishant, the central protagonist and Pritam Jaiswal, Abbas Ali Ghaznavi, Jay Thakar, Pragati Mishra, Ria Nalavade, and Anmol Jyotir in supporting roles.  Reports suggest that the show will be set in the backdrop of IIT-BHU (Varanasi). Further details are yet to be revealed.

Talking about the series based on student life, author Nikhil Sachan, told TechnoSports, "I am thrilled that UP65 will reach a much wider audience with the screen adaptation. We wish that the show will get the love the book has received. I am sure the show will take all of us back to our college days and make us relive the best days of our life."

The trailer of the show serves as a tantalising glimpse of what is to come.
