The legendary superstar Chiranjeevi received the second-highest civilian honour award Padma Vibhushan in the field of art. President Droupadi Murmu presented him with the award at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Thursday. His family members attended the ceremony including wife Surekha, son Ram Charan, daughter Sushmitha and daughter-in-law Upasana Kamineni Konidela. A video capturing a heart-melting conversation between father-in-law Chiranjeevi and daughter-in-law went viral on social media. The clip was taken during the photoshoot of the star. The video also captures a quick glimpse of Ram Charan.

To celebrate the occasion, Upasana asked Chiranjeevi “Mavayya (uncle), what is common between Klin Kaara (her daughter) and me?”. To which the superstar replied, “Klin Kaara… she is an extension of you, that’s it.” Then she said, “No, both our grandfathers are Padma Vibhushans.” Here grandfathers referred to Prathap C Reddy, who is Upasana’s grandparent and Chiranjeevi, who is the grandpapa of Klin Kaara (daughter of Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni Konidela).
