6 Must-Watch Animated Movies To Stream On OTT Platforms In January 2025

Mufasa The Lion King

There is a 100-day exclusive theatrical window between the theatrical and digital release dates, which are March or April 2025, according to the most recent movie schedules. Mufasa: The Lion King is distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, so it might be released on Disney+ Hotstar instead of Netflix.

Moana 2

Moana 2, the critically praised became the fourth highest-grossing movie in 2024. A 100-day exclusive theatrical window is given by the producers, per the latest schedule of movies. Disney+ Hotstar will reportedly start streaming the animated movie from March 12, 2025 onwards. However, an official confirmation regarding the date and OTT platform is yet to be revealed.

The Wild Robots

The Wild Robot, an animated feature from DreamWorks Animation, will be available for Peacock streaming starting on Friday, January 24. The movie, which is based on Peter Brown's best-selling novel, has done well at the box office. Since its premiere, the Chris Sanders-directed movie has also been rented or bought on other services like Apple TV and Prime Video.

Inside Out 2

Inside Out 2, the eagerly awaited follow-up to the Disney and Pixar blockbuster, is available to stream on a Disney+ Hotstar in India. Riley's tale continues throughout the movie as she deals with the difficulties of puberty. Her life gets more complicated as she struggles with growing up and experiences new emotions including anxiety, envy, embarrassment, and boredom. In addition to providing children with entertainment, Inside Out 2 encourages adults to consider their unresolved childhood feelings.

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl

Gromit, the top dog, steps in to save his master after Wallace is framed for a string of suspected acts and his high-tech invention goes awry. This is Wallace & Gromit's second full-length motion picture, after Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which won Nick Park an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. On January 3, Netflix began streaming the comedy adventure movie.

Kung Fu Panda 4

Zee5, Apple TV+, and Amazon Prime Video are the three OTT platforms where you may rent the cartoon series. There are various rental prices for the animated movie. On OTT services like Zee5 and Apple TV+, Kung Fu Panda 4 is available for Rs 279 and Rs 390, respectively. It costs Rs 119 to rent on Amazon Prime Video. The same platform used to rent Kung Fu Panda 4 for Rs 299 before.
