Originally slated for release on July 5, 2024, the film's debut has been rescheduled to August 2, 2024, following requests from film exhibitors and distributors.
The story of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha traces a couple’s love journey over 23 years, from 2000 to 2023, exploring the emotional depth and shifts in their relationship. Krishna, entangled in a series of murders, is sentenced to life imprisonment, causing his separation from Vasudha, who eventually marries Abhijeet. After 22 years, Krishna is granted a pardon and longs to reunite with Vasudha, leading to a poignant final meeting between the two.
Khel Khel Mein (August 15)
Featuring Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, and Taapsee Pannu, Khel Khel Mein promises a captivating blend of suspense and humor. Thangalaan (August 15)
Thangalaan, starring Chiyaan Vikram, is set to be a captivating Tamil drama based in the 19th century Kolar gold mines. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film is slated for a global release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The movie delves into 'the true history' of the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). The cast also includes Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Hollywood actor Daniel Caltagirone in key roles.
Stree 2 (August 15)
Starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the sequel to Stree 2 continues the spine-chilling story from the original film, focusing on the legend of a witch who abducts men who are alone at night, leaving only their clothes behind. Director Amar Kaushik first announced plans for the sequel in October 2018, and Rajkummar Rao confirmed its development in February 2022. Filming began in July 2023 after the project entered pre-production in March 2023. The film, which was initially slated for release on August 30, 2024, will now premiere on August 15, 2024. The cast also includes Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.
