The Equalizer 3
The Equalizer 3, directed by Antoine Fuqua, is the final installment of The Equalizer trilogy, based on the classic TV series. Denzel Washington reprises his role as Robert McCall, a retired U.S. Marine and DIA officer. In the film, McCall finds himself in a small Italian town, where he befriends locals being intimidated by Camorra members. With his signature justice-seeking spirit, McCall sets out to protect his new friends and save them from the looming threat.
The Equalizer 3 hit theaters in the United States on September 1, 2023, courtesy of Sony Pictures Releasing. The film garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics. Despite being initially touted as the final installment, the franchise is set to continue, with a fourth and fifth installment currently in development.
The Equalizer 3 is streaming on Sony LIV since December 1, 2024.
Venom: The Last Dance
Venom: The Last Dance is an upcoming 2024 American superhero film written and directed by Kelly Marcel, based on the Marvel Comics character Venom. The film concludes the Venom trilogy, following the events of Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021). It is the fifth installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) and features an ensemble cast, including Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, and Andy Serkis, among others.
Venom: The Last Dance made its debut at the Regal Times Square theater in New York City on October 21, 2024, before hitting theaters nationwide in the United States on October 25, 2024. The film garnered mixed reviews from critics, but has still managed to rake in an impressive $468 million worldwide, securing its spot as the tenth-highest-grossing film of 2024.
Venom: The Last Dance is expected to stream on Netflix in either December 2024 or January 2025.
Squid Game Season 2
Get ready for the highly anticipated second season of the South Korean survival thriller horror series Squid Game, set to premiere on December 26, 2024. Produced by Netflix, the new season promises to be just as gripping as the first, with a talented cast including Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-joon, and Lee Byung-hun reprising their roles.
Joker 2
Joker: Folie à Deux is a 2024 American musical psychological thriller film directed by Todd Phillips, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver. The film is a sequel to the 2019 hit Joker and stars Joaquin Phoenix reprising his iconic role as the Joker, alongside Lady Gaga as Lee Quinzel. The cast also includes returning actors Zazie Beetz and Leigh Gill, as well as newcomers Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Steve Coogan, and Harry Lawtey. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures in association with Joint Effort, the film is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Joker: Folie a Deux (Joker 2) is now available on Amazon Prime Video for rental in India. The movie is expected to be released on the platform for free in December 2024.
