Upcoming Bengali Movie Releases July 2024: Bengali Cinema is one of the prominent film industries in India for its extraordinary cinematic experience and out-of-the-box storyline. Bengali Cinema is also known for making ‘art movies’. Many films have been either dubbed or remakes have been made in other languages including Hindi. In India, there are several movie watchers, who love to watch Bengal films. So, we brought you the list of upcoming Bengali film releases in the month of July.
Surjo
The romantic drama delves into a woman, who wants to get rid of her unwanted marriage. She later discovers a graphic novel about Surjo once occupied. It revealed his adventures and about his life. Directed by Shieladitya Moulik, the movie featured Vikram Chatterjee, Madhumita Sarcar, Darshana Banik, Prasun Gain and Sridip Mukhopadhyay in prominent roles. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on 19th July.

Aranyar Prachin Probad
The mystery thriller revolves around the murder of a philanthropic doctor in a village in West Bengal. A new detective in town Aranya took the case to solve the mystery of the murder. Dulal Dey’s directorial stars Jeetu Kamal, Rafiath Rashid Mithila, Silajit Majumder, Sayan Ghosh, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay and Loknath Dey in significant roles. The movie is all set to release in theatres on 5th July.

Doaansh
The thriller drama delves into the life of 59-year-old Sarathi Sardar who embarked on a journey with a granddaughter in Sundarban. They later seek refugees from tigers and crocodiles there. Directed by Sayan Banerjee, the movie features Sanjita Mukherjee, Sritama Dey, Anubhav Kanjilal and Payel Roy PR in pivotal roles. It is scheduled to be released in theatres on 5th July.

Manikbabur Megh (The Cloud & the Man)
The much-anticipated movie of the year Manikbabur Megh is a fantasy drama directed by Abhinandan Banerjee. The film revolves around a lonely man, who was loved by a cloud. Later, things started looking surreal in the real world. The movie stars Chandan Sen, Bratya Basu, Debesh Roy Chowdhury, Arun Guhatharkurta and Nemai Ghosh in key roles. The movie will be released in theatres on 12th July.
