Faced with these circumstances, certain films are forgoing the conventional theater release and are instead opting to debut directly on prominent digital platforms like Netflix, Aha, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and others. Simultaneously, some filmmakers are adopting a hybrid approach, initially releasing their movies in theaters and subsequently making them accessible for streaming on various OTT services a few weeks later.

Upcoming Tamil Release December 2023 And Their OTT Debut
Salaar
The movie unfolds with a star-studded ensemble, featuring Prabhas in the central role, supported by a stellar cast that includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju. Parking
Parking is a gripping Tamil drama and thriller that showcases a cast led by Harish Kalyan, Indhuja Ravichandran, and M.S. Bhaskar in pivotal roles. The ensemble is further enriched by the contributions of Rama, Prarthana, and Ilavarasu in supporting capacities. Helmed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan and featuring a compelling musical score by Sam C.S., the film was brought to life through the production efforts of Sudhan Sundaram and K.S.
Parking OTT Release: Disney Plus Hotstar has reportedly acquired the digital rights of Parking.
Va Varalam Va
Scheduled for release on December 1, 2023, ‘Va Varalam Va’ is an eagerly awaited Tamil film directed by R. Suresh Babu and L.G. Ravichandar. The movie boasts a cast led by Balaji Murugadoss, Mahana Sanjeevi, Reddin Kingsley, and Mime Gopi in prominent roles, with the addition of the renowned Singampuli. As the audience anticipates the unveiling of this cinematic creation, ‘Va Varalam Va’ promises to deliver an engaging experience under the joint directorial guidance of R. Suresh Babu and L.G. Nilesh Krishnaa makes his directorial debut with the highly anticipated Indian Tamil-language film, ‘Annapoorani’, also marketed as ‘Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food’. Jointly produced by Jatin Sethi and R. Ravindran under the banners of Zee Studios, Naad Studios, and Trident Arts, this cinematic venture brings forth a compelling narrative. Dhruva Natchathiram
In the pipeline is the much-anticipated Indian Tamil-language spy action film titled ‘Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter One – Yuddha Kaandam’ (translated as "Pole Star: Chapter One – War"), helmed and produced by the skilled Gautham Vasudev Menon. The movie boasts a dynamic ensemble cast led by Vikram, alongside Ritu Varma, R. Parthiban, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran, and Vinayakan.

Conjuring Kannappan
