The movie Daaku Maharaaj featuring Urvashi Rautela and Nandamuri Balakrishna, which released on January 12, is receiving a positive response at the box office. However, the film has faced backlash for the choreography of the song Dabidi Dibidi since its release by the makers. Urvashi Rautela, who starred in the song opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna, shared her thoughts on the controversy, stating that dancing with the legendary actor was not just a performance but a celebration of art.
Urvashi Rautela shared her experience of working and dancing opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna in the song Dabidi Dibidi from Daaku Maharaaj. In a conversation with the news agency IANS, the actress said, "Success inevitably invites scrutiny, and I understand that discussions and varied opinions are part of the journey. Regarding the dance with Nandamuri garu, I respect the diversity of perspectives that come with any performance. Working with a legend like him was an absolute honour, and the experience was one of collaboration, mutual respect, and passion for the craft."
She described the controversial dance moves as art. "The dance with Nandamuri sir was not just a performance for me; it was a celebration of art, hard work, and respect for the craft. Working with him was a dream come true, and every step, every gesture was about creating something beautiful together," Urvashi added.
Recently, the video of Urvashi and Nandamuri Balakrishna performing the hook step of the Dabidi Dibidi song went viral. Netizens noted that the actress appeared uncomfortable while performing with Balakrishna.

It faced a box office clash with Game Changer and Sankranthiki Vasthunam. The movie also stars Bobby Deol, Chandini Chowdhary, Shraddha Srinath, Pragya Jaiswal and others in key roles.
