Utsavam On OTT: Arjun Sai directed the Telugu family drama movie Utsavam, starring Dilip Prakash, Regina Cassandra, Mohammad Ali, and Raghu Babu. The film premiered on the silver screen on September 13, 2024, and the audience received it well. The film explores the hardships endured by artists who rely on theatre for their survival. After its theatrical run, the movie made its way to digital platforms. The makers announced the OTT release of Utsavam on social media.

When and Where to Watch Utsavam

Utsavam, starring Dilip Prakash and Regina Cassandra, will stream on SUN NXT starting March 7. The streaming platform announced this on X, stating, "Witness Krishna’s fight to keep the art of theater alive."

About Utsavam Movie

Arjun Sai directed and wrote Utsavam, with Suresh Patil producing the film. The movie captivated the audience not only with its storyline but also with its music, composed by Anup Rubens. To bring this vision to life on screen, the star cast includes Dilip Prakash as Krishna Abhimanyu and Regina Cassandra as Rama. Additionally, the film features actors like Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Ali, and Nassar in key roles. Supporting roles are played by Raghu Babu, L. B. Sriram, Anish Kuruvilla, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Prema, Aamani and Sudha.

Utsavam follows Krishna (Dilip Prakash), an artist on a mission to revive and preserve a traditional Telugu art form. With the support of his father, Abhimanyu Narayan (Prakash Raj), he embarks on this journey. The movie showcases the struggles theatre artists face in a world that no longer values their craft, while also weaving in a romantic drama. Krishna falls in love with Rama (Regina Cassandra). After their parents arrange their marriage, their lives take an unexpected turn. The Telugu movie explores themes of love, drama, and theatre culture while highlighting the struggle of preserving old traditions in a modern world.
