Uyire OTT Release: Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala starrer 1998 romantic thriller movie Dil Se won the hearts of the audience. The film is considered one of the cult romantic films of all time. As Valentine's week has been approaching, the movie was released on a popular OTT platform in Tamil version. Dil Se has been titled as Uyire in the Tamil version which was released on Rose Day. The Tamil version of Dil Se is streaming on Aha Tamil. The OTT platform has announced the news on its social media platform. The movie was released on the digital platform on the occasion of Rose Day which is February 7. Aha Tamil wrote on Instagram, “This flower is for you people! 🌹❤️ Watch #Uyire streaming now on @ahatamil.”
About Uyire
The story is about a radio broadcaster named Amar Varma, who falls in love with a mysterious girl named Meghna whom he met at a railway station. On his journey, he initiates a conversation with the girl and becomes close. Despite getting rejected several times, he still wanted to be part of her life. When he gets engaged and decides to get married to a girl of his family’s choice, Meghna arrives at his residence. This increases his love for her. Later, he came to know that Meghna is part of a liberationist gang who are planning a series of bomb attacks in Delhi. The movie features Manisha Koirala, Preity Zinta, Zohra Sehgal, Sanjay Mishra, Raghubir Yadav, Piyush Mishra and Sabyasachi Chakraborty in key roles. It has been directed by Mani Ratnam and produced by Bharat Shah, Mani Ratnam, Ram Gopal Varma and Shekhar Kapur. The film had a box office collection of over Rs 28 crore in 1998.
