Danish Pandor discussed the much-discussed football scene in Dhurandhar 2. He revealed that about 25-30 seconds worth of the sequence was cut by the censor board. In an exclusive interview with Zoom, the actor talked candidly about filming it. "The censor board cut out 25 to 30 seconds from that scene. When I first read the script, I was thrilled about performing it. In the realm of Indian cinema, such a scene is unprecedented. It was a significant chance for me as an actor."

Danish Pandor saw it as a huge opportunity for his career as an actor, but he was also worried about what people would think. "Simultaneously, I was mindful of how the audience would react. I needed to ensure it was believable and relatable, so it didn’t come off as if I was doing it just for shock value. There needed to be genuine emotions and context behind it. Fortunately, I think I succeeded. I didn’t let down the director or the viewers. Deep down, I felt I had validated that scene. Many people appreciate that moment."

For those who don't know, Danish Pador portrayed Rehman Dakait's cousin Uzair Baloch in Dhurandhar 1 and 2. However, because his character was arrested in the second portion, he had little screen time.

Who Is Real-Life Gangster Uzair Baloch?

Uzair, played by Danish Pandor, is inspired by one of the most infamous gangsters in Karachi.
