Vaazha On OTT: Anand Menen’s directorial has been receiving praise from the audience and critics across the country. Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys is a multi-starrer comedy-drama that will be released in theatres on August 15, 2024. The story revolves around four friends who face tremendous pressure from their parents and society after entering adulthood. The net collection of the movie stands at Rs 22.7 crore and the worldwide collection is Rs 36.5 crore. As per reports, Vaazha was on a budget of Rs 4 crore.

The comedy-drama revolves around four friends, who were called ‘losers’, and face immense pressure from parents and society upon entering adulthood. It focuses on how they embark on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance, where love wins over judgment. The movie features Meenakshi Unnikrishnan, Joemon Jyothir, Siju Sunny, Saaf Bros, Basil Joseph, Amith Mohan Rajeshwari, Ajin Joy and Azees Nedumangad in key roles. The movie was produced by Vipin Das, Harris Desom, Adarsh Narayan and PB Anish.

Vaazha is all set to make its digital debut on a popular streaming platform Disney + Hotstar. The comedy movie will start streaming on September 23 on Hotstar. While sharing the news on its social media handle, the maker wrote “The Biopic of A Billion Boys - Vaazha will be streaming from September 23 on Disney+ Hotstar.”
Sequel of Vaazha
The director of the movie Anand Menen has announced that the second part of the movie is under way. The sequel has been titled Vaazha II - Biopic of a Billion Bros, which will carry forward the legacy and storyline of the prequel.
