Vadh 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta return to their prominent roles in the 2022 crime thriller Vadh. Vadh 2 was already considered to be one of the most anticipated and talked-about films of 2026. The crime thriller, which was written and directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu, has done well at the box office thus far.
Vadh 2 performed better than its predecessor at the box office on day 1, as per Sacnilk. The second part brought in about Rs 0.50 crore, compared to Rs 0.10 crore on its first day of release.
Vadh 2 had a limited number of screens and it clashed with Border 2, Mardaani 3 at the box office. And that's not all—O'Romeo and other Valentine's Day titles will be joining the fray in a week, so it has little time to carve out a niche.
Vadh did not do well at the movie office when it was released in 2022, despite subtly impressing audiences with its compelling plot and dramatic scenes. Later, the movie gained popularity on Netflix, where it was well-received and spread by word of mouth. Based on its popularity on OTT, the creators decided to develop a sequel.
The movie made its international premiere on November 23, 2025, as a gala at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. On February 6, 2026, Vadh 2 was released in theaters following its festival screening.

Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra return to their parts as Manju and Shambhunath. This time, the trailer shows Manju incarcerated, which heightens the plot's interest and intricacy. Alongside the main performers, Amit K. Singh, Kumud Mishra, Akshay Dogra, Shilpa Shukla, and Yogita Bihani also have important roles. The film's diverse cast of characters carry out its dramatic plot, captivating viewers to the very end. Under the Luv Films brand, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg are producing Vadh 2.
