Tripti Dimri Topless Sex' Scene Controversy: Bollywood actress Tripti Dimri's performance in 'Animal' alongside Ranbir Kapoor has garnered significant attention, particularly for their on-screen chemistry, earning widespread appreciation from audiences. One of the film's most talked-about aspects revolves around Ranbir's sex' scene with Triptii, who portrays Zoya in this crime drama. Now, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga addressed the controversy surrounding the sensual scene, sharing its purpose and hinting at the bond between the leads in the sequel.
Sandeep on Tripti-Ranbir's Animal scene
Boasting a stellar cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri, Animal has shattered the box office collections. Talking about the viral sex' scene, Vanga revealed that initially, the sequence involved them getting close, followed by a cut to the shot where they were lying together on the bed. However, after reviewing the edit, they made changes to the scene.
The director told Galatta "Thoda toh warm up dikhaenge nahi toh audience (will be like), ‘Kya ho raha hai?’ Shot ka value kharab ho jaega" (We'll show a bit of warm-up; otherwise, the audience will be like, 'What's happening?' The value of the shot will be lost)," Vanga said. Continuing the discussion, the 'Kabir Singh' director expressed his vision for the intimate scene to Ranbir Kapoor and Tripti Dimri. He articulated his vision by likening the scene to a painting, aiming to create an atmosphere where the characters seem lost.

Tripti Dimri On Sex' Scene
Talking about the abovementioned scene, Tripti earlier mentioned that only four individuals were present on set during the filming. "I believe the rape scenes I portrayed in 'Bulbbul' were more challenging personally because surrendering and letting go is tougher than summoning the courage to act. If I could conquer that, then I consider this (Animal scenes) as comparatively less challenging," she told ETimes.
"The scene is getting a lot of criticism as well and it did disturb me initially because I am someone who has hardly faced criticism with my first few films, this time it was a mixture of both. As long as I am comfortable, as long as people around me on set are making me comfortable and as long as I know whatever I am doing is right, I am going to do it because that is something I want to experience as an actor and as a human being," the actress added.
