A new poster for the much-anticipated film Vettaiyan, featuring none other than the legendary Rajinikanth was dropped on April 7. This movie marks a significant milestone as the 170th film in the illustrious career of the superstar.

Fans of Rajinikanth were treated to an exciting update on Sunday when the makers of Vettaiyan announced the film's release date. According to the announcement, Vettaiyan is set to hit theatres worldwide in October 2024.

The new poster released by Lyca Productions features Rajinikanth in a striking pose, sporting black sunglasses and a blue shirt, as he points a gun towards something ahead. The poster carries the words, "In Cinemas releasing worldwide October 2024," along with a caption that reads, "Kuri vechachu. VETTAIYAN is all set to take charge in cinemas this OCTOBER. Get ready to chase down the prey!"

The production house had earlier revealed the film's title teaser on Rajinikanth's 73rd birthday, building anticipation among fans. Vettaiyan boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan. The film's music is composed by the talented Anirudh Ravichander.

Rajinikanth, who was last seen in an extended cameo in the sports drama Lal Salaam, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, has been spotted shooting for Vettaiyan in various locations, including Trivandrum, Tirunelveli, and Tuticorin.

The new poster release has sparked excitement among fans, with many taking to social media to express their anticipation for the film.
