Vicky Kaushal's latest period drama, Chhaava, has been granted tax-free status in Madhya Pradesh. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday, coinciding with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's birth anniversary.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav shared the news at a public gathering and later posted on social media, stating, “On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's birth anniversary, I announce tax-free release of the Hindi film Chhaava, based on his son Sambhaji Maharaj.” The move is expected to encourage more people to watch the film, which brings to life the story of the Maratha warrior.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis acknowledged the public’s appeal to grant tax-free status to the film in his state.
