Like everyone else, Vicky Kaushal is also an SRK fan. The actor shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in the 2023 comedy-drama Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Vicky, who is gearing up for his much-awaited historical drama Chhaava, recently expressed how working with the superstar made his dream come true.
Vicky Kaushal Calls Shah Rukh Khan His Hero
Vicky Kaushal shared his admiration for his Dunki co-actor Shah Rukh Khan in an interview with Pinkvilla. When the actor saw a photo from the movie with SRK, Vicky reflected on the experience of working with the legend. He said, “Iss film mein mere itne sapne poore hue hai na. Maine Shah Rukh sir ke saath ek drunk scene kar liya, agle din humne ek hi nimbu chaat liya aur phir unke baaho mein main marr bhi gaya. Itna naseeb toh Shah Rukh sir ki heroine ko nahi milta. (So many of my dreams came true with this movie. I got to perform a drunk scene with Shah Rukh sir, we even shared a lemon the next day, and eventually, I died in his arms. Not even his heroines have had this kind of luck.)”
The Bad Newz actor also revealed that he used to tease the Jawan actor by saying, “‘Sir, itne intimate aap kisi ke saath hue ho cinema mein jitne aap mere saath hue ho?’ Toh woh bhi kehte, ‘Nahi, nahi, nahi yaar.’” He continued praising the King Khan of Bollywood by stating, "But he is a legend, he is a king, he is all our favorite. There's nobody like him. For me, this whole experience was just getting to work with my hero, Shah Rukh Khan."
