Vicky Kaushal and Laxman Utekar have joined hands for the second time for another project tentatively titled 'Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.' Filmmaker Laxman Utekar opened about the making of his next film with the actor where he revealed that Vicky Kaushal will be gaining weight for the film.
According to a report of Pinkvilla, Laxman Utekar said, "First of all, Vicky is a very good performer as we all know. You can see it in any of his films. At the same time, he is an amazing person. Secondly, when the script was ready, we wanted an actor whose personality matches Sambhaji Maharaj."

He further stated, "That personality and that physicality only Vicky has from the younger lot of actors. So I thought he would be a perfect casting for Sambhaji Maharaj."
Laxman Utekar also shared details about the actor's preparation for the film, where he said, "We start shooting in September. We are already in pre-production and began the prep two months ago. Vicky's training is going on because he has to gain weight, and go beyond 100 kgs."
He further added, "He is undergoing training for horse riding and sword fighting. So all the training is going on. Rest of the casting and location hunting is also underway."
Talking about 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' the film stars Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in the lead role which will be released on June 2. Filmmaker Laxman Utekar also revealed that Katrina Kaif also paid a visit on the sets of 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' where he wants to work with the off-screen couple together.

He said, "She never came on set, but she came to meet Vicky during Lohri in Indore. So she did celebrate Lohri with Vicky and Sara but she never came on the set. But in the future, I would love to work with both of them if I find a story like that."
Talking about Vicky Kaushal's work front, the actor will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's film 'Sam Bahadur' with Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. He also has Anand Tiwari's 'Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam' with Tripti Dimri in his kitty.
