Controversy engulfed IIFA 2023 in Abu Dhabi when a video emerged, capturing the moment when Salman Khan's bodyguards shoved Vicky Kaushal away on Thursday.

Reacting to the viral clip, Vicky, on IIFA Rocks 2023 green carpet, said, "Kayi baar bahut baatein badh jaati hain (Sometimes things are blown out of proportion). There is unnecessary chatter about many things. Things are not actually as they seem sometimes in the video. There is no point in talking about that."

For the unversed, the Zara Hatke Zara Bachke star had attempted to approach Khan during the ongoing IIFA event in Abu Dhabi, but Salman's body guards prevented their meeting due to security concerns. A video capturing Vicky Kaushal's interaction with Khan had gone viral on social media.

In the viral video, Vicky was seen engaging with fans and taking selfies when Salman Khan, accompanied by his security team, walked by. Vicky seized the opportunity to approach Salman, intending to greet him with a handshake. However, his attempt was thwarted by the vigilant security personnel who pushed him away and did not let him meet the Tiger 3 star.

However, later Vicky and Salman met and shared a warm hug, effectively quashing any speculation about their supposed discord.

This time around, Vicky is co-hosting IIFA alongside Abhishek Bachchan, while Salman is set to dazzle the stage as one of the star performers.

On the film front, Vicky is gearing up for the release of his film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke opposite Sara Ali Khan. The romantic comedy will release in theatres on June 2.

Salman, on the other hand, is all set to feature in his Diwali release, Tiger 3, alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. There are also reports suggesting that megastar Shah Rukh Khan will be making a cameo appearance in Tiger 3.
